OnlineWhat I have built
Selected deployments, migrations, integrations, and recovery work from Bytehaven.
Active Directory architecture
Designed the OU structure, groups, service accounts, DNS records, GPOs, and redundant domain controllers.
Mailcow and LDAP integration
Recovered a damaged Ubuntu filesystem, updated Mailcow, and connected mailbox authentication to Active Directory over LDAPS.
Proxmox identity integration
Integrated Proxmox with Active Directory, synchronized users and groups, and assigned role-based permissions.
VM migration and recovery
Imported Hyper-V VHDX files, corrected boot mode and disk controller problems, and repaired ext4 corruption.
Built for hands-on learning.
I’m Donovan Brown, a networking and cybersecurity student building Bytehaven to gain practical experience with systems administration, virtualization, networking, identity, Linux, Windows Server, email, automation, and security.
This site documents what I build, what breaks, how I troubleshoot it, and what I learn.
